iThe name

ಆರಾಧ್ಯ

The name Aradhya, meaning worthy of love, admiration and devotion, a reflection of everything we believe a saree represents.

Every saree is chosen the way you'd choose an offering: slowly, by hand, and only the ones worth it.

Gowri Praveen

Founder, Aradhya Silks

Gowri began Aradhya Silks with one dream: sarees that are cherished for a lifetime and passed down through generations.

iiiOur story

Aradhya Silks

Woven with Love. Treasured for Generations.

Aradhya Silks was born from a simple belief: that a saree is never just a garment. It is an emotion, a memory, and a legacy waiting to be passed on.

Our inspiration comes from a deeply personal experience of wearing a mother's 45-year-old wedding saree. What once held her precious memories became part of another generation's story, reminding us that a saree is never just an outfit, but a legacy passed down with love.

ivThe weavers

At Aradhya Silks, we celebrate the extraordinary artistry of South Indian handlooms and the skilled weavers who preserve this beautiful tradition. Every saree is thoughtfully curated, honouring the patience, craftsmanship and heritage behind each weave.

  • Green silk yarn winding from wire wheels onto bobbins on an old winding machine

vThe dream

Our dream is simple: to bring you timeless Kanchipuram silk sarees that are not merely worn for an occasion but cherished for a lifetime and passed down through generations.

Because some sarees are more than beautiful. They become heirlooms.
